Multnomah County Food Safety Materials
Multnomah County Environmental Health Department's communications team hired me to redesign and expand a series of food safety materials in the form of posters, stickers, and one-sheets to be distributed and posted at restaurants and food carts. Goals included a coherent look and feel for the whole series, which required establishing a color palette and illustrative style; clear and concise infographics with built-in adaptability for translation into 18 languages; design adaptation for multiple formats; and development of universal iconography for comprehension by an audience with a wide range of native language proficiencies and varying levels of literacy.
A set of icons from this series can be seen here.
Stickers for kitchen sinks which are divided into 3 sections, for labeling the purpose of each sink.
